The Hip Society Seeking 1-Year Research Grant Proposals from Members

The Hip Society’s Research Committee (Michael A. Mont, MD, Chair) is seeking applications for research grants.

These will be one-year projects that may be renewed annually, subject to review and approval, for up to 3 years total.

Projects may be stand-alone or may be proof of concept trials for larger studies which might require additional funding.

Format of Proposal: 

  • 2-page maximum to include an abstract (consisting of purpose/hypothesis, specific aims, methods, potential power analysis, and clinical relevance, as well as budgetary needs with justification).

Grants will be for 1-year proposals at $10,000 - $ 25,000 each. Funding will be 50% upon approval of proposal, and 50% after filing a 1-year progress report.

Multi-center proposals for likelihood of high impact work will receive favorable consideration.

Successful proposals will be announced at the 2021 Summer Meeting, October 7-9, 2021, in Washington, DC.
