| THE ROTHMAN-RANAWAT TRAVELING FELLOWSHIPSApplication cycle for the 2026 Rothman-Ranawat Traveling Fellowship will begin in April of 2026. Travel will take place in November-December of 2026, will continue for 4-5 weeks throughout the United States and Canada, and will culminate at CCJR® 2026 in Orlando, Florida.  Eligibility CriteriaA successful candidate MUST meet ALL of the following criteria. Candidates may be from Asia, Africa, North America, South America, Europe, or Australia. Candidates not meeting the stated criteria will be disqualified without further notice. Final selection will be made solely at the discretion of The Hip Society's Fellowship & Mentorship Committee. All decisions are final. 
 Items Needed For Your ApplicationWe strongly recommend that you have these items ready so you can complete the application as smoothly as possible. 
 Health Information / RequirementsProof of acceptable vaccination will be required for, including but not limited to, Hepatitis B, flu, MMR, varicella, Tdap. Proof of a negative TB test and/or a full chest Xray also may be required. All candidates must be willing and able to obtain the necessary documentation ahead of travel.  Established to educate and inspire emerging leaders in hip surgery, the program has since trained 44 surgeons from around the world, including the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, Germany, Greece, India, Iran, Ireland, Japan, Nigeria, and Ukraine. Notably, six alumni have gone on to become members of The Hip Society and/or The Knee Society.
