The Hip Society - British Hip Society Traveling Fellowship

"This traveling fellowship was an amazing opportunity to meet international leaders in hip surgery and expand my horizons so that I can take the best possible care of my patients.  I cannot thank The Hip Society and the British Hip Society enough for this chance to exchange knowledge and make lifelong friendships, and I encourage other young surgeons to apply for this program."

Anna Cohen-Rosenblum, MD, a 2022 Hip Society-British Hip Society Traveling Fellow

“The (American) Hip Society-British Hip Society Traveling Fellowship is a true once-in-a-lifetime experience. I made lifelong friendships with co-fellows from both the US and UK and established connections with thought leaders in the art and science of hip surgery. Clinically, I saw the full spectrum of techniques and picked up many pearls I have already incorporated into my practice. Scientifically, the Fellowship fostered the constant exchange of ideas and I returned to the US with several new collaborators and mentors. Historically, it was a real privilege, especially for the American Fellows. We had the opportunity to see the birthplace of many of the most important techniques and technologies in hip surgery, including total hip arthroplasty itself. Culturally, we had an amazing time exploring each of the unique stops along the trail. Every site put on a great show and we got to experience the best of Britain! I cannot recommend the opportunity highly enough and will always be indebted to those that made it possible.”

Cody Wyles, MD, a 2022 Hip Society-British Hip Society Traveling Fellow
