"I am very excited for the privilege and opportunity to be a Hip Society - British Hip Society traveling fellow in Fall 2024. I look forward to meeting leaders in hip surgery, observing new perspectives on familiar patient scenarios, experiencing a different culture, and forging life-long friendships and collaborations. From discussions with prior fellows, this fellowship seems like a once-in-a-lifetime experience and I would like to sincerely thank those who made it possible."

Ajay Premkumar, MD, MPH, a 2024 Hip Society-British Hip Society Traveling Fellow

"I am very thankful to have recently been selected for this year’s Hip Society-British Hip Society Traveling Fellowship. As an early-career academic adult reconstruction orthopedic surgeon this is an extraordinary opportunity to expand my surgical knowledge and investigative work in orthopedic surgery and specifically hip reconstruction. As a clinician scientist focused on the biomechanics of hip replacement, I am incredibly excited to share our research work in hip arthroplasty and to study the cutting-edge projects being spearheaded by world-renowned experts around the world. I very much look forward to learning from some of the greatest minds in our field and building lifelong relationships that will foster clinical and research collaborations, as well as friendships, for years to come. I am grateful for the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and look forward to seeing everyone soon!"
